Student Career Co-Op Placement Web Designer - updated March 20, 2009 -
Students who are looking for experience are welcome. Looking for a few passionate web designers and/or graphic artists who want to learn from a professional team. We are not looking for any number of years of experience, nor a list of impressive clients.
Tech Skills appreciated:
Flash Design, Flash Animation and Interface design in photoshop
XHTML/CSS web coding (being able to do it Dreamweaver is good enough)
Understanding of what is appealing with design online
JavaScript a significant plus
Basic Knowledge of Content Management Systems ( Or willingness to learn )
Qualified students/grads feel free to skip the tedious cover letter, and the time consuming resume. A brief hello, a little bit about you, your school and of course samples of your work is sufficient to apply for this position. We work 1 PM to 4 or 5 PM but the hours are flexible for the right student.

Radio Tower climber and Wireless Transmitter Installer
Required:
• Minimum 4+ years of related experience in wireless communications, including tower installation and site construction
• Experience hanging antennas and mounts
Required:
• Ability to install, repair and troubleshoot wireless communication, tower installation, and site construction
• Certification to operate heavy equipment as needed as directed
• Knowledge of antennas, coax, connectors, grounding, and lightning protection
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and commonly used practices and procedures within the construction field
• Basic computer skills
Desired:
• Certification in tower safety/climbing/fall protection
Other:
• Must be a Canadian. citizen
• Willing and able to travel up to 90% throughout the Grey Bruce Counties
• Must have a valid driver’s license and responsible driving history
• Highly customer focused/oriented
• Possess a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
• Ability to interface professionally with customers, vendors and contractors
• Willing and able to work extended schedules to ensure project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
• Comfortable performing under pressure
• Problem solver, self motivated, and highly dedicated
• Strong oral/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must be familiar with and able to handle various power tools.
Physical Requirements:
• Capable of heavy lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds
• Desire and ability to climb telecommunication towers up to 200 feet
• Repelling skills desired
